Scorelight is a musical laser prototype that spawns sound as it moves over outline of doodles, contours of 3-D objects or even buildings that are far away. Sound is produced and modulated according to the curve of the lines, angle of the line with vertical surface combined with the color and contrast of the line! The thing that makes it unique is the vividness of pith changes and smoothness with which the laser light navigates along the lines. The prototype was developed by the Ishikawa-Komuro Laboratory (also the developers of StikyLight project) using a pair of steering mirrors, laser diode and a single non imaging photo-detector. For me, the scorelight is an amazing masterpiece of creativity, which is an unique integration of music and light.
